Keru Yakaar is a dental practice that was set up over 20 years ago by MercyShips, among others, and is there for people who don’t have the money to pay for a dentist.
Their mission is to show people that every person is valuable, by helping them very practically with oral care.
About 100 people are helped here every day and this is very effective. Only this clinic is very outdated. It is essential for the quality towards the patients and the continued existence of the clinic that this is improved. This clinic is located in a poor and densely populated area of Dakar.
It is a wonderful opportunity to help improve this clinic, so that more people can be helped better and that this clinic continues to exist.
In 2024 we received a large donation for this and the renovation began. At the beginning of 2025 we received another huge donation that sponsored the entire clinic. Below are some pictures of the renovation!
